Memory Trainer | Author | Engineer | Entrepreneur
Anil Kumar's mission is to help the next generation discover what becomes possible when they learn how to use their memory effectively. As an engineer, software professional, entrepreneur and memory coach, he brings together analytical thinking, practical experience and a passion for helping students learn with confidence.
He holds a qualification in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance. His professional journey includes software development and running an electronics product manufacturing business with operations in Delhi and Sahibabad Industrial Area. Building a business has taught him the importance of disciplined thinking, continuous learning and turning knowledge into action.
Yet his journey as a student was not without challenges.
Technical subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Electrical Engineering came naturally to him. Once he understood a concept, it stayed with him. However, remembering historical dates, language-based material, legal articles, sections and lengthy answers was a different experience. He could understand the information, but recalling it when it mattered was often difficult.
He still remembers preparing answers with ten important points, only to recall five during an examination. Despite trying hard, the remaining points would not come to mind. Then, after leaving the examination hall, they would suddenly return. That frustration stayed with him. While he topped his college in Electrical Engineering, his performance during his MBA remained average.
The turning point came when he attended a seminar and watched a trainer demonstrate memory techniques. He became curious: could remembering be a skill that could be learned and developed?
That question led him to invest time, effort and resources in memory training. He subsequently became a certified memory trainer through the International Council for Memory and the World Association for Brain Athletes. He has since coached and trained thousands of students, helping them explore practical ways to organise information, build associations and practice recall.
He is also the author of Blue Mastery Blueprint, available on Amazon. Through his writing and coaching, he aims to make memory techniques approachable and useful for everyday learning.
Beyond his professional work, he enjoys experiences that challenge him to grow. He has travelled to 32+ countries, trekked to Everest Base Camp and experienced skydiving in Germany and Australia. These adventures reflect his belief that growth begins with curiosity and the willingness to step beyond familiar limits.
Manufacturing is his profession; coaching is his passion.
When he reflects on his student years, he often wonders how differently he might have approached learning if he had known these techniques earlier. That thought now drives his purpose: to pass this knowledge to the next generation.
Through Memory Olympiad Foundation, he wants to make memory training accessible, engaging and affordable for school students across India. By combining training with memory challenges and opportunities for competition, he intends to inspire students to practice, recognise their progress and approach learning with greater confidence.
“Your present difficulties do not define your potential. Learn the techniques, practise consistently, and keep discovering your capabilities.”
