Questions we are asked before every batch
If something here is still unclear, the enquiry form goes straight to us and we answer it ourselves.
The programme
Who is this for?
School students. The techniques themselves work at any age, but the two days are pitched at school level and the test is scored against other students of the same age. If you are an adult who wants the training, write to us — we run separate sessions for professionals and competitive-exam aspirants.
How long does it take to learn?
Two days to learn the techniques; a few weeks of practice to make them automatic. We are deliberate about that distinction. The 2 days give a student every technique they need and enough guided practice to use each one — what happens afterwards depends on them, which is exactly why we end with a scored test and a championship.
Is the training online or at our school?
The two days of training are delivered live online, so a school does not lose hall space or a whole timetable to it, and students in any city can take part. The memory skills test is run at the end of the training. Schools that want us on site for the championship stage can ask.
What does it cost, and what is included?
₹167 per student, excluding GST. That covers both days of live training, the scored memory skills test, marking, a certificate for every student who completes the test, and medals for top performers. There is no second payment later.
Why is it so inexpensive?
Because we are building the first inter-school memory league in India and we need schools in it. Pricing it where any parent can say yes is how we get there. The training is the same training we have delivered for twenty years.
How it helps a student
How does this help with actual schoolwork?
Most of what a student is asked to retain is arbitrary: dates, definitions, formulae, spellings, lists of causes, vocabulary in a second language. Understanding does not fix arbitrary material — you either encode it deliberately or you re-read it and hope. These techniques are a method for encoding it deliberately.
Can formulae and equations be memorised this way?
Yes, and it is one of the more useful applications. A formula is a sequence of symbols in a fixed order, which is precisely the shape of problem these techniques handle well. Students also use them for periodic tables, biological classifications and the order of events in history.
Will it take longer at first?
For the first week, usually yes. Building an image for something takes more effort than reading a line again, and students notice that. What changes is the second and third time they need the material: the re-reading never ends, and the encoded version is still there. Most students cross over within a fortnight.
My child already does well. Is there anything in this for them?
Strong students tend to be the fastest to benefit, because they already revise consistently and these techniques make that revision far more efficient. The gain shows up as time — the same marks for noticeably fewer hours, which matters more every year they go up.
What about concentration?
Concentration improves as a by-product rather than as a separate exercise. Memory technique requires active work on the page — building an image, placing it somewhere, checking it. A student doing that is not drifting, because the method does not let them.
Enrolling
How does a school enrol a whole class?
Send us an enquiry with your school name, the year groups and roughly how many students. We will come back with dates against your timetable and a single enrolment link for parents, so your staff are not collecting money.
Can a parent enrol one student directly?
Yes. Fill in the enquiry form, and use the box at the bottom to tell us which class your child is in — we will place them in the next batch running for that age group.
What happens after the test?
Every student who sits the test receives a certificate with their score. Top performers receive medals and recognition, and carry their result into the inter-school championship, which is the stage we are building towards.
